Since its inception in July 2004, Fabulous Mom® has become Malaysia's leading nursing maternity lingerie label and one of Malaysia's favourite natural parenting cum breastfeeding stores.
Fabulous Mom® was founded by Vivian Foo, an ardent breastfeeding mom of 2, who had a background in Public Relations and Marketing. Vivian was born and raised in Kota Bharu, Kelantan, a place that she has always been proud of.
Fabulous Mom® started with designing, producing and distributing its own line of nursing maternity bras through its own online store in July 2004 - it was at a time when Malaysia and international markets offered very little variety for good quality yet practical, fashionable and affordable nursing bras for breastfeeding mothers. Fabulous Mom® was very welcome by the Malaysian breastfeeding moms who were more aware of the benefits of breastfeeding and would like to breastfeed longer.
Vivian is also a certified lactation counsellor, currently attached to University Malaya Medical Centre on a voluntary basis. She is furthering her study in this field, hoping to help more mothers to breastfeed longer.
Today, products by Fabulous Mom® are not limited to only nursing bras, but also many other parent-tested and approved products, namely nursing wear (My Lovely Closet®), breastmilk storage solutions (Jingle Jungle®), nursing tea (Joy Angel®), educational toys (Little Buddy®) etc.
From an online store, Fabulous Mom® has also expanded its wings by setting up cozy boutiques for moms to enjoy a unique shopping experience. Currently, Fabulous Mom® has 3 retail outlets - Bandar Puchong Jaya, Selangor; TTDI, Kuala Lumpur and Skudai, Johor Bahru (Oct 2010). There are a mini cafe in all Fabulous Mom® boutiques, which we name it The Breastfeeding Cafe. :)
Fabulous Mom® products are also available in other major mother & baby boutiques in Malaysia. Besides, the brand has slowly made its inroads into Singapore, Brunei, Netherlands, Australia, United Kingdom and France.
